The American Legion Post 3 will be holding an American Flag Retirement Ceremony on October 17, 2015. We will also be holding a fund raising event that same day. All proceeds will be used to fund our charitable programs, such as, veteran programs, veteran’s hospitals and clinics, scholarships, school awards and children’s organizations.
We will be serving a gourmet breakfast buffet from 8 am – 10 am for a donation of $10 per person. For reservations please call 318-487-1887 or 318-451-0915. We are also having a food fest until noon. Baked goods, fresh canned local products from spring and fall and fresh soups packaged in pint freezer safe containers to fill your freezer for the winter will be available for purchase. All proceeds from items sold go to the American Legion to further our veterans and community causes. During the event we will also be hosting a “Meet & Greet” with local politicians.
This is your invitation to come out and join in the patriotism and enjoy some good food and fellowship.
